2026 Ware Softball Registration: Let’s Get Ready for Spring Fastpitch in Ware, MA
If your house has ever been turned upside down by a missing cleat or a mysteriously sticky batting glove, we’re your people. We’re the Ware Girls Softball League in Ware, Massachusetts, a recreational fastpitch program built for fun, skills, teamwork, and the kind of friendships that last past the final out. We welcome players in grades 3rd to 8th.
With 2026 Ware Softball Registration open, we’ll keep this simple: cost, divisions, season dates, and exactly how to register online.
Who can play in 2026, and what our season looks like
We’re a rec league for girls who want to learn the game and feel supported while doing it. “Rec” means we coach with patience, we teach fundamentals, and we measure wins in progress, confidence, and high-fives that sting a little.
Our program is intended for players in 3rd through 8th grade (that’s how we describe it on our site). For 2026, we hope to run three divisions: Grades 3 to 4, Grades 5 to 6, and Grades 7 to 9. These groupings depend on sign-ups, so we’ll build what fits our numbers.
Not sure where your player belongs, especially with the 8th-grade note versus a 7 to 9 division? We get it, school years can be messy. Reach out and we’ll sort it out together.
Our season runs from late April 2026 through mid-June 2026, with practices, games, and a strong Ware community vibe all the way through.
Practices and games, weeknights with a little weekend sprinkle
Practices are usually on weeknights, with the occasional weekend practice depending on coaches and field time. Games land on weeknights or weekend mornings and afternoons. Some travel comes with it too. Last season we played 12 games (six home, six away), and our farthest trip was Sunderland, MA.
How to register online in about the time it takes to find a missing sock
Registration is online, and yes, it’s parent-friendly. Head to https://www.waresoftball.com/register, then:
- Open the page and find the Register Online button.
- Click it, and we’ll send you over to the UniPay site.
- Fill out the UniPay registration form.
- Pay the $100 fee and submit.
Before you start, it helps to have your player’s grade for spring 2026, basic contact info, and emergency details ready to go. Registering early also helps us confirm divisions, set team sizes, and start planning a smooth run into late April.
Questions, updates, and next steps after we hit submit
After you register, we’ll share follow-up details as we get closer to the season, team info, early practice plans, and the stuff that makes calendars groan. If you’re the “tell me everything now” type, we respect that energy.
For quick updates, keep an eye on our Facebook page. For anything else (division questions, schedule concerns, or “my kid is brand new and also very excited”), please message us through our contact form.
New to fastpitch, get set up without overthinking it
Beginners belong here. We’ll teach the basics and build confidence fast. For gear, keep it simple: a glove that fits, cleats if you have them, and a water bottle that doesn’t leak in the car. If you need help choosing a bat size, our Youth Softball Bat Size Chart makes the decision way less stressful.
